Here we with another song from Greece. Sakis Rouvas is singing “This Is Our Night” and it’s quite a traditional Eurovision style song.

Okay, we admit. We’re pushing the European element a bit here but it’s tricky to define whether Azerbaijan is European or Asian. But on the other hand, it has a better claim than Israel which is very definetly not in Europe.

Hungary’s song seems like a throwback to the 1980’s dance culture. It’s a brave attempt. The video looks like an 80’s MTV slot too.
Not sure what they were aiming to achieve but it …

Little Slovenia has come up with a nice song this year called Love Symphony.
Marta is stunning as she slips in the odd lyric now and then around the musicians.
We hope they do well with this …

Not sure about this one. Seems a bit melencholy and well, dull. I can’t see this one getting many votes, but Eurovision has surprised us in the past. Expect the Polish disapora around Europe to vote for this one but don’t expect many others.

We like this one. Very odd. Very Balkan. What an afro though and what’s with the men in suits? It all seems very…well Eurovision. Not sure what the others will think of it but it has a thumbs up from us for pure weirdness.

Latvia sucessfully hosted the contest a few years back thanks to the votes of its neighbours. That said they did a very good job but this year’s song doesn’t seem to do that time justice.

There was a time when Ireland was the powerhouse of Eurovision. Consistently kicking out tunes which the other countries loved. Not sure if the costs of hosting the contest each year pleased Irish TV but we all enjoyed it 🙂
